Sometimes JE staff prefer a quieter setting to enjoy music on the holodeck . Olympia created an intimate parlor as her favorite scene, to which she often retreats to relieve the stress of spacefaring. Several staff members carefully assembled the grand piano using the fabrication facilities of the robotics lab, although much of the rest of the parlor is generated virtually via holographic projections.
Many JE staff as well as station visitors enjoy the calming effect of the music parlor, and often visit to hear Olympia perform classical pieces or to play the piano themselves. Cozy armchairs, along with a roaring fireplace, provide opportunities to relax in comfort while listening to the performances.
