JE developed Jonson Station, a space habitat in the form of a rotating wheel space station, located near the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.  After attackers destroyed Jonson Station, JE relocated its crew to an existing colony on Mars, and later to larger facilities back on Earth.

In addition to its human crew, JE also employs robots with highly advanced artificial intelligence (including androids and gynoids).  Many blog stories explore the relationships among humans and artificial sentient beings.
