Lilabelle Jonson assists JE staff as a consulting engineer, focusing primarily on the interfaces between humans and robots, but also on several aspects of space station and spacecraft ergonomics. She works closely with Seaplane Jonson in the development of various types of robots (including advanced humanoid robots) which can more effectively enhance daily operations and especially address the unique requirements of long distance missions.
Since the robotics field is very complex and consistently experiences rapid technological change, Lilabelle often returns to Earth for collaboration with robotics pioneers there. Consequently, she helps maintain ongoing communications with external colleagues, providing a welcome sense of contact with the outside world.
